He blends a wrestling and gymnastic background with a number of therapeutic techniques from various modalities combining Proprioceptive, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Strain/Counter Strain, Trigger Point Therapy, and Breath Awareness.

Alexey’s work is often described as “very deep therapeutic massage with a gentle approach to the body.” He consults athletes on biomechanical dysfunction by assessing postural anomalies, gait dysfunction and muscular imbalances.

Alexey grew up in Russia, was trained in the Soviet School of Boxing and Wrestling. He received his massage therapy education from Russian Sport University then from Canadian College. Alexey has been active in rigorous strength and athletic conditioning programs for his entire life. Along with his gymnastics, Alex has been involved in skiing, soccer, tennis and martial arts. Massage and bodywork have been instrumental to Alexey’s recovery during his training process, for injury prevention and pre and post competition. Alexey has acquired an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology and the mechanics of the human body. Massage Therapy has always been highly regarded in Europe for its benefits and Alexey is passionate about providing the highest level of care to his clients. He strongly believes in the effectiveness of massage therapy programs that are built around a specific focus, need or goal, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced athlete.

Alexey is very focused on the assessment of his client’s current condition and he listens to what each client wants and needs to make every session a step forward on the road to recovery. In his massage therapy practice, Alexey integrates different massage techniques and modalities together for a customized session whether it is for pain alleviation, injury rehab, races and event training or for regular maintenance.

Alexey’s greatest aspiration as a massage therapist and personal trainer is to motivate his clients for a positive change. He brings body awareness and mindfulness to every session and will help customize a program specific for you.

His past experience as a massage therapist includes the following: team massage therapist for the Tuymen Sport Gymnastic (Russia), team massage therapist and Manual Practitioner for the Khanty Mansiysk (Russia) united Boxing Team, member of research and rehabilitation group for sport injured patients and training research program participant, worked with numerous athletes from various sports, worked in rehabilitation clinics focusing on whiplash, sciatic pain and TMJ, frozen shoulders, spinal injuries, chronic pain, among many other injuries or traumas.
